Eloise was a strong believer in pink. So was Audrey Hepburn. I am a blue girl, through and through, but I have been trying to branch out a little when it comes to color. Lately, I have been embracing pink, magenta, and purple. The easiest way to branch out of your color comfort zone is to stick with classic pieces and then add color to make it pop. That’s what I did with this look.

Let’s talk about these pants. They are the bomb.com. I mentioned them in my 2017 favorites post and my third pair will be arriving later this week. First of all, they have a great fit. I like to have classically cut straight leg pants for work and these are extremely well made.  The material is thick and won’t give you baggy knees, when after a day of sitting at your desk. But I saved the best part for last….POCKETS! And not just any pockets. These slit pockets can hold an iPhone without distorting the drape of the pants. As if all of this wasn’t great enough, they are on sale for $30 instead of $100. Yes, 70% off. Get yourself a pair of these pants. NOW! You’ll thank me later.

For the rest of the outfit, I added some a some of my wardrobe staples. A white button down and black cashmere sweater. These pieces both qualify as “wardrobe staples”. My sweater is still available in limited sizes and is 60% off. It is one of my all-time favorite sweaters, but you will need to use a sweater shaver like this one on it once a year. I have worn mine at least 20 times since buying it in the fall of 2016.

The last two items also appeared in my 2017 favorites post, my Gucci disco bag and classic Chanel quilted flats. Like a white button down and a black cashmere sweater, I couldn’t imagine my wardrobe without either of these items. I finished it off with all of my go-to jewelry. This look could really be titled “Katie’s favorites+pink pants”.

Have a great week!

Katie
